MBA graduate leading sales and marketing at Trump National Doral Miami

A University of the West of Scotland (UWS) graduate has been appointed as the new Director of Sales and Marketing at Trump National Doral Miami.

Tracy Solly, who completed her MBA at UWS in 2014, said: “I’m extremely excited to be leading on sales and marketing at this iconic golf resort and looking forward to driving growth and strengthening the resort’s position within the luxury hospitality market.”

Whilst studying for her MBA, Tracey was Resort Sales and Marketing Director at the prestigious Cameron House Hotel in Loch Lomond, Scotland UK, leaving in 2015 to move to the US.

Prior to her appointment at Trump National Doral Miami, Tracy worked as a consultant for independent luxury hospitality brands through her company, The Luxury Compass. She also served as the Vice President of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce.

Mickael Damelincourt, the Managing Director of Trump National Doral Miami, expressed his excitement about Tracy’s appointment, highlighting her strategic vision and deep understanding of guest needs and preferences. “Tracy’s expertise will play a vital role in creating exceptional experiences for guests and maximizing revenue opportunities. The resort is looking forward to Tracy joining the Trump Doral family.”

Doral’s legendary golf resort was instantly iconic when it opened in the 1960s, frequented by celebrities and moguls of the game. More than 50 years later, now a Forbes Travel Guide four star hotel, Trump National Doral Miami offers four championship golf courses, including the legendary Blue Monster, and luxurious 48,000 sq. ft. spa.
