Two University of the West of Scotland (UWS) graduates have been taking part in a brand-new adventure series, 007: Road To A Million, from Prime Video where nine pairs go head-to-head for up to £1,000,000 in prize money.
Daniella Gualtieri and Grace Nicoll, both Broadcast Production graduates from UWS Ayr Campus, became friends while working at Capital Radio in Glasgow following graduation. Daniella has her own Radio 1 show and Grace hosts the weekend show on Heart FM and is also a continuity announcer for Channel 4.
Daniella commented on LinkedIn: “Last year an opportunity presented itself to take part in the new James Bond adventure. Make money? Travel the world? You say. You’ll pay, we’ll play? SIGN ME UP!
We can’t wait to share this with you as we try add some Scottishness to the screens.”
The show, which started on the streaming site 10 November, saw 18 contestants taking on James Bond-style challenges in iconic locations from the film, such as the Scottish Highlands, Venice and Jamaica. Answering questions hidden in the different locations around the world to advance to the next challenge.
Asking the questions is the show’s ‘Controller’ – Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Brian Cox, who was most recently on screens as Logan Roy in Succession.
