University of the West of Scotland will be in New York for Tartan Week and looking forward to meting alumni and friends!
The team will be in New York from Thursday 4 April and would love to meet alumni that can’t make the parade on Saturday, either Thursday or Friday. Email ewan.obrien@uws.ac.uk to make any arrangements to meet, or for further information.
On Saturday, 6 April, alumni, friends and family will join the parade under the UWS banner, walking up the Avenue of the Americas. This is a free, fun, family event that we would encourage alumni to join!

1.30pm Time to muster!
As a group, we’ll walk to the muster area and take our place in the 2024 Tartan Day Parade.
2pm The 2024 Taran Day Parade
Joined by bagpipes, banners and flags, we’ll march the parade route together!
4pm Post Parade Event
Join us in The Long Room, 120 West 44th Street, New York 10036 for well-earned refreshments to celebrate.
