A University of the West of Scotland (UWS) graduate has been named as interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Rogers Corporation, a global leader in engineered materials, headquartered in Arizona, USA.
Laura Russell, who graduated from University of Paisley (now UWS) in 1997 with a BA Business Economics with Finance, assumed the role of Interim CFO on 12 August 2024 following the resignation of CFO Ram Mayampurath.
Following graduation Laura took a role as Automotive Financial Analyst with Freescale Semiconductors before moving to the US with NXP who acquired Freescale Semiconductors. Laura joined Rogers in September 2023 as Vice President of Finance and previously served in senior finance roles at Wolfspeed and NXP Semiconductors.
